La Pilar, which translates to "the pillar", was finally released at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show, after an initial release date of May. For La Pilar Padilla returned to Tabacalera Aguilar in Honduras, where the Series '68 was made.
Available in two sizes, La Pilar is a box-pressed cigar with Nicaraguan binder and Nicaragua & Dominican fillers. Wrapped in a beautiful Ecuador Habano Oscuro wrapper. Well balanced and medium bodied, La Pilar has notes of pepper & earth with hints of sweetness on the finish.
