  • I was lucky enough to smoke not one, but two of the new Leaf cigars by Oscar this weekend. The first, an ever , elusive Maduro and the other a Corjo – both in the Toro (6×50) size. Both are Amazing cigars in their own right and both left me absolutely satisfied and wanting another!

In the case of the Leaf series, the Maduro for me edges past its counterparts to take the crown of one of my top go-to smokes. The complexity of flavors presented throughout the smoking experience is a whirlwind of excitement! Warm tones of pepper and coffee (and a bit of cocoa) start you off through the first half building in strength and which eventually crescendos into a sweet earthy, peppery-honey finish. Just amazing.

I can’t wait to see what Island Jim and Oscar come up with next!

    Craig
