When Foundation dropped it years back, it was made over at Aganorsa… and had this killer balance of old-school Cuban tradition and new boutique attitude.

It was one of the first cigars that made people go, “Okay, who the hell is Nick Melillo?” If you know, you know. Nic came out of Drew Estate and immediately started shaking things up with Foundation.

The Wise Man (El Güegüense) was one of his opening shots—and it landed hard!

Finally lit up version 2.0 and I’m telling you… it’s a whole new beast.

This new version is still rocking that beautiful Corojo wrapper, but now it’s been re-blended and re-imagined at the My Father factory—and it’s even tastier, richer, and somehow even more dialed in.

It’s like watching a great band release their second album and absolutely crush it!

First light hits with dark cocoa, roasted nuts, a touch of pepper, and that classic Corojo thang. Graham cracker, cedar, and cream with hints of caramel and cinnamons stick.

Then the second third gets darker—like espresso, toasted almond, leather, and mocha. 

By the final third, it’s throwing haymakers: toffee, white pepper, nutmeg, black pepper, creamy caramel… and it lingers in the best way.
