For 2025, we got our hands on our favorite vitola of the bunch: DAS BOOT.

This thing is a gorgeous 6x52 torpedo, handmade at the legendary TABADEX factory in the Dominican Republic...the Quesada family’s home turf and one of those factories that old-school cigar nerds immediately recognize.

This cigar is ABSOLUTELY BEGGING FOR A GIANT STEIN OF BEER.

Quesada drapes the Das Boot in a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper, then loads it with Dominican binder and Dominican filler tobaccos.

Right out of the gate, we get waves of dark cocoa, roasted coffee and earthy sweetness, followed by toasted nuts, cedar and baking spice. As it burns, that San Andrés starts doing San Andrés things—bringing in darker chocolate, pepper, earth and a subtle natural sweetness that keeps the whole thing ridiculously balanced.

**And somehow it gets even better when you crack open a Märzen, dunkel, bock...or basically anything served in a glass large enough to require two hands.
