La Barba Red has been reblended for 2016. It still has the same characteristic as the original, just with a primarily Dominican blend. The Red is made with a Dominican Corojo wrapper, around this blend of tobaccos.
Produced at the Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic (instead of in Honduras like the original), the La Barba Red is full bodied and spicy. It uses a ton of ligero, but still maintains it's Dominican flair.
