La Barba Purple – the second release by Tony Bellatto and Craig Rossi of La Barba Cigars- features an HVA Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with Dominican binders. The fillers are an interesting mix of rare Carbonell and HVA Habano. This blend was perfected with assistance from Robert Caldwell of Caldwell Cigar Co. and Henderson Ventura (son of William Ventura) and is being manufactured at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic.
