Leche de Mama is Spanish for "Mother's Milk". The idea for this project started way-backa-when while we were blending cigars and listening the Red Hot Chili Peppers album--Mother's Milk.
This is without question THE creamiest and most massively delicious cigar in the Cigar Federation Tobaccos line-up. We are absolutely obsessed with it! It’s nostalgic—both in aroma and flavor—taking us back to some of our first years in cigar making.
LECHE DE MAMA XxO is a full-bodied, medium-strength 5.5x54 toro. Wrapper is a luscious 12-year-aged Criollo 98 leaf. Fillers will remain a closely guarded secret. All tobaccos are aged between 4-15 years!
First light begins with elegant flavors of caramel, heavy cream, melted butter, and dark chocolate. Black coffee, white pepper, and brown sugar immediately follow. The retrohale adds a warm cinnamon burn.
The finish lingers long on the tongue leaving a whipped cream and vanilla bean.
As the second third begins, notes of Spanish cedar and cashews appear. Gorgeous hints of bourbon subtly come to the fore. The flavors are a bit like French Vanilla Ice Cream. The balance is impeccable!
The last third finishes magnificently! Gentle toffee notes are added to the blend. A warming white pepper tingles the tongue. You won't want to put it down. It's creamy and bursting with flavor all the way down to the nub!
