The 2018 Cote d'Or La Tâche was planned but never released. 

The lore and legend of rare and limited cigars is better to me than Game of Thrones or Star Wars sagas. 

Here’s the backstory…In 2015, Tatuaje released the very first L’Atelier Côte d'Or. In 2016, the version of the Côte d’Or limited project was known as Côte d'Or La Tâche and used a mid priming rosado Sancti Spiritus wrapper. In 2017, the Côte d’Or project was back again, but in a different vitola.

But the 2018 version has never been released…UNTIL TODAY!

The limited-edition L'Atelier Côte d'Or La Tâche '18 features the coveted Ecuadorian Sancti Spiritus wrapper. Beneath the wrapper lies a Nicaraguan binder and filler blend, including the rare and prized Pelo de Oro tobacco.

Pelo de oro, which translates to "golden hair" in Spanish, is known for its exceptional quality but low yield. In fact, its susceptibility to mold led to a ban in Cuba.

Flavors are elegant and silky. Medium-strength with notes of cream, spice, Scotch, mocha, cedar, tanned leather, powdered sugar, and cinnamon.
