We had the rare chance recently to smoke an Oliva Master Blends 3. In our day to day, we are smoking cigars that are either new blend testers or “boutiques”. And there’s only so many hours in the day and only so many cigars you can smoke.Â
I hate to say it…but this beauty slipped through our fingers—UNTIL NOW!
Within the first 2 minutes, I was texting our friends at Oliva to get an order for the FedHeads. This is a phenomenal smoke! And no wonder—it’s made by some of the most prestigious cigar blenders and makers in the entire world.Â
(Side Note—we will be bringing in more Oliva products to CigFed Store. Even thought they aren’t considered “boutique” per se….they are absolutely incredible cigars.)
Oliva Master Blends 3 is full-bodied, medium-strength. Wrapper is an oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro leaf with binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua.Â
Flavors are masterful! Beautiful and sophisticated notes of creamed coffee, black pepper, and raw sugar. Additional hints of leather, caramel, almond, and cocoa.
Halfway, gentle toffee notes are added to the blend. A warming white pepper tingles the tongue. You won't want to put it down. It's creamy and bursting with flavor all the way down to the nub!
🏆No wonder this cigar received a 92 Rating from Cigar Aficionado!

"I've been smoking these for over a decade at least, and myself and my two brothers all rate them among the best of Oliva. I've even had the pleasure of obtaining some Master Blend Ones that had been aged for years and shared them on my 50th birthday 10 years ago. Fantastic! I still have some MB3's in my humidor that I've been aging for several years. I highly recommend letting these set for quite a while to really enjoy all the nuances."

"Great stick but i wouldn't pay exponentially more than you need to. Ive gotten a box of these for as low as 80 (granted that's a steal), but yeah not paying 50 for 5"
