We see a lot of new “fly-by-night” cigar brands come and go….but PLATOON CIGARS got our attention big time! I think we’ve got a new superstar brand in the making with this one!
Heres’ the backstory…PLATOON CIGARS started during the covid pandemic in early 2021. The owners found themselves having serious talks about blends and different tobaccos from around the world. After some long nights talking with their good friend Paul Bujak, they decided to move forward and create their first blend.
They began working with Juan Rodriguez Tabacalera located in Tamboril, DR. After some small adjustments and fine tuning with their master blender—their first blend was born!
WAR MACHINE is wrapped in a gorgeous San Andres leaf. (JUST LOOK AT THAT PICTURE! 📸) It features an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. So this baby is extremely complex!
The first samples we smoked of WAR MACHINE were extremely impressive! This brand is really doing something special!
We have this in 2 sizes: 6x54 toro and 5x50 robusto.
Ok, on to flavors! WAR MACHINE is full-bodied, full-strength. Expect flavor notes of black coffee, dark cocoa powder, raw cane sugar, cream, black pepper, dark earth, raw leather, clove, all-spice, Spanish cedar, and dark chocolate.
